Why Me?

I began with arguments for God as creator.  Then I turned to the validity of the Gospels and the authenticity of Jesus. And, I read my bible, starting in the new testament book of John.

Over the months, things began to come together.  What I believe happened was that God led me to read exactly the books that would equip me to address the arguments posed by my atheist friends. There is little question that God allowed my doubt to bloom, and used my response to that bloom to provide the very answers that I needed. 

Now here’s the bottom line, there are two ways to live.  One follows the desires of our human condition.  As humans, we simply love to wallow in sin and carnal dirt.  This condition is analogous to the “broad way that leads to destruction”, from Mathew 7:13. “Wide is the gate and broad is the way”, it reads.  I can tell you from experience that following this easy way does not lead to peace and happiness and … at its worst, it brings complete chaos.
